A Lifeboat for Lifeboat

The aim of this initiative to build a Skiff was to bring those being assisted by Lifeboat and their supporters into a team work-driven project that would not only produce a boat, but also deliver great fun and be a gathering point for all of our Lifeboat people for years to come.
In short, it would provide an empowering and gratifying experience for all who participate.
Skiff Build
The Skiff has been launched successfully and a social rowing morning was held for clients and supporters on the second Sunday of each month at The Royal Geelong Yacht Club until Covid restricted this activity.
Management and storage of the Skiff has now been handed over to The Royal Geelong Yacht Club for use with community involvement.
